§ 3.30. Dog license tax.

Effective with the 2002 dog license, the minimum statutory dog license tax set forth in § 174.05, Wis. Stats., shall be increased by $2.00 to $10.00 for an unneutered male dog or unspayed female dog and $5.00 for a neutered male dog or spayed female dog or one-half of these amounts if the dog becomes five months of age after July 1 of the license year and to increase the multiple dog (kennel) license fee from $35.00 to $50.00 for 12 or fewer dogs and increasing $3.00 to $5.00 for each dog tag in excess of 12. If the statutory state minimum is increased, the total dog license tax shall increase accordingly. All additional revenues shall be deposited in the Dog License Fund established pursuant to § 174.09, Wis. Stats., and paid out as provided in said statute.
