§ 8.01. County trunk highway access.

(1)

The County Board finds that the public interest will be served by granting limited openings onto an access controlled County trunk highway and hereby approves the opening of the following public roads and private driveways onto CTH "K" and Falcon Dr.:

(a)

A public road in Sec. 9 on the west side of CTH "K" and at the intersection of 32nd Ave. and CTH "K" (AC Station 144+00).

(b)

A public road in Sec. 4 to be connected with the existing Fleet Dr. on the west side of CTH "K" (AC Station 179+50).

(c)

A private driveway from the property located on west side of the road at SE-SW in Sec. 4, T29, R7E (AC Station 170+00, currently owned jointly by Mr. and Mrs. Sturm).

(d)

A private driveway onto Falcon Dr. within the CTH "K" right-of-way from the property abutting northwest side of the intersection of CTH "K" and Falcon Dr. (AC Station 7E+00, known as old supermarket site).

(2)

The County Highway Commissioner shall review and, if satisfactory, approve the final location and design proposal of the allowed public roads and private driveway entrances prior to construction.

(3)

All construction costs related to such public and private entrances shall be the responsibility of the Town of Maine or abutting property owners.
